The National Math Trail is produced by the Foundation for Advancements in Science and Education (FASE) and its media arm, FASE Productions. FASE Productions has been producing innovative resources that relate classroom curriculum topics to real-world applications for over a decade. Its productions include the landmark classroom video series, "Futures with Jaime Escalante" and "The Eddie Files", as well as the PBS documentaries "Math...Who Needs It" and "Living and Working in Space--The Countdown Has Begun."Support for The National Math Trail is being provided by the US Department of Educations Star Schools program, through the Satellite Education Resources Consortium (SERC) . SERC, a nationally recognized leader in providing distance learning resources for schools, is also providing guidance with respect to the project design and its utilization of technology.

The Verizon Foundation also supports the National Math Trail. The Foundation supports a variety of programs that focus on improving literacy, bridging the digital divide, enriching communities through technology and creating a skilled work force. Through its foundation, Verizon promotes partnerships in technology with organizations serving the needs of diverse communities, people with disabilities, and the economically and socially disadvantaged.
The Futures Channel provides technical support and hosting for The National Math Trail. The Futures Channel is a digital content service which provides high quality, proven resources to help teachers connect math, science, technology and the arts to the real world of careers and achievement.
